APD ACADEMY CLASS 62 GRADUATION

Abilene Police Department Class 62 Graduation Ceremony

ABILENE, TX – On Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 6 p.m., the Abilene Police Department will hold a ceremony at the Historic Paramount Theater celebrating the graduates of Academy Class 62.

Academy Class 62 – These twelve cadets have completed over 1,100 hours of intensive training in 30 weeks.  They will be sworn in as licensed Peace Officers and will have their badges pinned during the ceremony.  After graduation, they will continue their training and enter the Patrol Training Officer program, where they will work the streets of Abilene while paired with experienced Patrol Officers.
